Using a technique called “Caller ID spoofing,” unknown persons have made phone calls fraudulently posing as representatives of CEXEC. These calls did not originate from CEXEC, and the callers are not CEXEC employees or representatives. This scam did not result from any compromise or infection of CEXEC systems, but from the unauthorized and false use of the CEXEC identity. We are working with law enforcement authorities to identify the wrongdoers.
