The Foundation of CEXEC

Thomas Jefferson at SunsetCEXEC, Inc. is one of the most successful Native American-owned, high-technology companies in the nation.

It is a privately owned Delaware corporation, with headquarters in Northern Virginia and offices around the country.  CEXEC’s President and principal owner, Douglas C. Rhodes, is a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and is active in American Indian initiatives to promote education and self-determination for Indian tribes.  Doug Rhodes and Brent Lin incorporated CEXEC in 1976 as a software and analysis company through the private investment of six original owners and stockholders.  Doug, Brent and the other investors started CEXEC to provide for its employees a corporate culture where the quality of the work environment, quality of life, family environment and health of the employee were of equal importance to making and retaining profits.  Six months after opening its doors, CEXEC won its first job, a $3,200.00 task at the Federal Energy Office.

Today, CEXEC is widely recognized as a supplier of practical and innovative solutions to complex problems.  CEXEC has received many awards for profitable growth, financial stability, and outstanding performance, always deriving this success from the strength of our employees and a commitment to provide the highest quality services at a fair price.

A good indicator of the success of a company and its corporate durability is the list of its clients and how long they have been clients.  CEXEC government clients include the Federal Aviation Administration of the Department of Transportation, the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Naturalization Service, U.S.  Army, U.S. Navy, Social Security Administration, the United States Postal Service, the Department of Defense Joint Staff, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation, and the Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The CEXEC Bison Seal

The American Bison
CEXEC Bison SealAs a part of the celebration for its 30th year of business, CEXEC adopted the American Bison as a company mascot to be a reminder of how success can be achieved.  The American Bison is a symbol of abundance and manifestation through effort combined with making the right choices. The large humped shoulders of the bison are indicative of our ability to achieve success through our own efforts. The large head of the Bison indicates that the way to success can be achieved by knowing and understanding the correct action to take. The American Bison combines the need for correct action and ones own efforts in order to achieve success.

The Seven Pointed Star
The Seven Pointed Star is a Cherokee Indian symbol.  CEXEC is a Native American-owned company, whose founder is a member of the Cherokee Indian Nation.  CEXEC has adopted the seven pointed star to remind us of our 7 corporate values.
